An affiliate of MVUSA has operated in the US for more than twenty (20) years and the company is currently starting up operations in Lagos, Nigeria.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect, analyze, and present data regarding the economic base of a region, including socioeconomic characteristics, industry and occupation trends, and the real estate market
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research and consultation on relative markets
  • Measuring the economic and fiscal impact of a proposed mixed-use development on the host community
  • Providing research and data to support projects that cover a wide range of topics, including housing, economic resiliency, downtown revitalization, green technology, target sector trends, supply chain analysis, real estate changes, and more
  • Identifying and analyzing trends and forecasts and recommending improvements to the business processes
  • Researching market trends, conducting surveys, and analyzing data from competitors
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that can support and improve the revenue of events
  • Build strong customer focus, experience in recognition of customer needs, and how to deliver an effective customer experience
Skills
  • Must have strong attention to detail, time-management and organizational skills
  • Advanced speaking and report-writing skills for effective communication and presentation
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Strong analytic skills in data analysis and economic research
  • Ability to analyze information from different sources and provide appropriate recommendations
  • Ability to compile and analyze data and provide recommendations based upon statistical analysis
  • Ability to operate independently to complete tasks and succeed in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3+ years of work experience in economic or real estate research
  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, economics, business, or other related quantitative fields of study
  • Experience in interacting with local and national government agencies
  • Technical/Report Writing Experience
  • Experience with quantitive analysis
  • Knowledge or experience in the West African economic development, international trade, and/or foreign direct investment is desired
  • Knowledge of primary research methods including survey analysis and web-based research
